bluez-compat software package provides BlueZ 3.x compatibility binaries, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bluez-compat
bluez-compat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bluez-compat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bluez-compat *
You will get with bluez-compat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
